Hormel's Ettinger named 'Responsible CEO of the Year'

Jeffrey Ettinger was one of four chief executives honored by Corporate Responsibility magazine, Twin Cities Business reports. The “Responsible CEO of the Year” award recognizes executives who “visibly exceed standards in the areas of employee relations, environmental impact, human rights, philanthropy, and corporate responsibility practices.”

Jeffrey Ettinger was one of four chief executives honored by Corporate Responsibility magazine, Twin Cities Business reports. The “Responsible CEO of the Year” award recognizes executives who “visibly exceed standards in the areas of employee relations, environmental impact, human rights, philanthropy, and corporate responsibility practices.”

Ettinger is the chairman, president and CEO of Austin-based Hormel Foods. In a statement he said, “I am honored to accept this recognition, which ultimately speaks to the hard work of our employees and our company’s ongoing commitment to corporate responsibility.”
