Lawyers for Minnesota-born NBA player-turned-reality star Kris Humphries and his estranged wife Kim Kardashian are scheduled to meet in court Wednesday to tell the judge what they have done to either settle the case or prepare for trial, TMZ reports. Humphries has reportedly refused to settle in the case.
Humphries signed a pre-nuptial agreement before the 72-day marriage, which, according to TMZ, entitles him to nothing. Even if that's true, he won't exactly be strapped for cash. Just last month, he signed a two-year deal with the New Jersey Nets worth $12 million a year.
It's been nearly a year since Kardashian and the Minneapolis native married. The nuptials took place Aug. 20, 2011, in front of 400 guests in Santa Barbara, Calif. See ABC's wrap-up of the ceremony below.
E!, the cable home of Kardashian's reality show, later aired a special on the wedding. Below, she the then-happy couple talk about plans for their married life together.
