There was a massive food fight in downtown Minneapolis Saturday night. Hundreds of people attended the second annual Midwest Tomato Fest -- purportedly featuring the area's largest tomato fight. The day-long festival also featured live music and other entertainment and food trucks.

The Pioneer Press and Star Tribune have photos from this year's saucy event.

More than 3,000 people attended last year when the tomato fest debuted at Afton Alps.
