Icy roads cause school bus spinouts in St. Paul

Rain overnight created slick roads in Twin Cities Friday morning.

St. Paul police tell FOX9 that officers responses to several school bus spinouts and crashes. Children were onboard a school bus that slid down Granite Street into a parked van. No injuries were reported.

MPR reports metro roads are in good driving condition for the most part, but side streets and sidewalks may be slippery.

Icy conditions in northeast Minnesota caused several schools to close Friday.
