A lot of people agree that 2016 was a pretty crappy year, for many reasons. But what would it look like as a movie?

Friend Dog Studios says it would be the horror film of the year.

The amateur filmmakers posted a spoof trailer on social media called 2016: The Movie. It captures the emotions felt around the world this year, as we dealt with shocking headlines from Brexit and Harambe to the seemingly endless number of celebrity deaths.

The trailer quickly went viral and was viewed more than 20 million times in less than a day, the Daily Mail said. Check it out above.
