As hunting season gets underway, officials are asking people to keep a look out for the body of a Minnesota woman who went missing in August.

Ramsey County officials say Michelle Newell, of Vadnais Heights, went missing Aug. 29 while traveling to the Dakotas with Timothy Barr.

Barr has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to her death, with officials alleging he killed Newell in a "rural location" and then hid her body in a farm building, either in eastern North or South Dakota, before he returned to Minnesota.

But Barr isn't cooperating with investigators, the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Thursday, so officials are once again asking for the public's help in locating Newell's body to help bring closure to her family, including her four children.

"With the hunting season starting this weekend in the Dakotas we are asking people to keep an eye open for anything that may lead to the whereabouts of Michelle Newell's body," Chief Deputy Jack Serier said in a statement.

Officials are asking people in the area to check in barns, outbuildings or around their property for any sign of Newell.

They also released an updated missing persons poster urging people to call the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office at 651-266-7320 or 911 if they have any information on what happened to Newell.
