Colts linebacker Dwight Freeney is officially out of Sunday's game against the Vikings. That's good news for Minnesota, which goes into the game with a very healthy roster. The only concerns for the Vikings are linebacker Marvin Mitchell and rookie receiver Jarius Wright. Both are questionable.

Sprained ankles kept four Vikings out of the first practice of the regular season Monday. The Vikings say that rookie receiver Jarius Wright, linebacker Marvin Mitchell, safety Andrew Sendejo and cornerback Marcus Sherels all were out with injuries. All four players are back-ups, although Sherels and Wright are the first options for punt returns.

Vikings Wednesday injury report

The Vikings remain mostly healthy outside of the obvious season-ending injury to Antoine Winfield. The only other big names on Wednesday's injury report were Anthony Herrera and Erin Henderson. Herrera is still bothered by a knee injury while Henderson has an issue with a hamstring.

Jared Allen on Vikings' injury report

Jared Allen's name unexpectedly appeared on the Vikings' first injury report of the week. Allen was limited in practice today with a chest injury. Linebacker E.J. Henderson, defensive back Chris Cook, and punt returner Marcus Sherels were also limited.
