It's gonna be so cold Saturday ...

How cold will it be?

The National Weather Service says the temperature will dip to 4 degrees in the Twin Cities overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. The high Saturday: 16. The wind chill will make it feel like 0, KARE 11 reports. Saturday night will be the coldest night since Feb. 20, WCCO reports.

It could be the coldest game in the 5-year history of TCF Bank Stadium for Saturday's Minnesota-Wisconsin football game.

But it's a one-day dip into the freezer. By Sunday, it'll be 27. By Monday: 38.

MPR's Paul Huttner says that Saturday will feel "positively polar." Here's a few Saturday temps from around the state:

Embarrass: High 9, low -10

Brainerd: High 15, low 2

Worthington: High 12, low 6

Rochester: High 16, low -1

As for next week, forecasters say it will be cold but mostly clear for Thanksgiving travel.
