Jill Biden plans another campaign stop in Minnesota

Vice President Joe Biden's wife, Jill Biden, is returning to Minnesota later this month. She campaigned on behalf of President Barack Obama in Minnesota in mid-September. Events aren't finalized but a Democratic official says Biden will campaign in Minneapolis and Duluth on Oct. 19 and Oct. 20. It would be Jill Biden's second campaign stop in Minnesota since Labor Day.

Vice President Joe Biden's wife, Jill Biden, is returning to Minnesota later this month, Minnesota Public Radio reported.

It's Jill Biden's second stop in the state in as many months. She campaigned here last month as well on behalf of President Barack Obama..

Jill Biden is scheduled to be in Minneapolis and Duluth Oct. 19 and 20.

The announcement comes days after the high profile debate between Joe Biden and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's running mate, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan.

The vice president drew about 2,000 at his campaign stop in Wisconsin Friday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, KSTP-TV reported.

Ryan is expected to make his first campaign stop in Minnesota at a fundraiser Saturday evening in Minneapolis.
