John Mayer's 'search for everything' will include St. Paul

What's John Mayer searching for on his 15-show tour? Everything.

The soulful, guitar-playing heartthrob of the 2000s is swinging through Minnesota on his newest tour.

John Mayer will perform at the Xcel Energy Center on April 15 as part of his The Search for Everything world tour. It's his first solo tour since 2014, AXS says.

Tickets for the St. Paul show go on sale Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. (Here's the link.) Prices are from $43.25 to $97.25.

There are only 15 dates on the tour (so feel special, St. Paul), and Rolling Stone says each show will have Mayer doing "three distinct sets of music: A full band set, a solo acoustic set and a set highlighting his John Mayer Trio."

Every ticket for a North American show includes a physical copy of Mayer's new album of the same name, The Search for Everything, which has a weird staggered release. It's being unveiled four tracks at a time Mayer explained, with "wave one" having come out Jan. 20. More waves will come each month, it sounds like.
