Some unseasonably autumn-like weather has many Minnesotans reaching for sweatshirts and blankets this weekend.
KARE 11's Belinda Jensen says it was 40 in Bemidji, 45 in Hayward, 46 in Little Falls, and 48 in Faribault Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service says high temperatures will struggle to reach 70 degrees both Saturday and Sunday. Near record lows are possible again Saturday night.
KSTP's Jonathan Yuhas says record low high temperatures are possible statewide on Saturday with highs in the low 50s in the northeastern part of the state to 70 in southwestern Minnesota.
Temperatures will improve slightly on Sunday, but will remain 10 to 15 degrees cooler than average. Next week should start to feel a little more like summer again with high temperatures in the mid-70s and low-80s.
