Opening statements are expected to begin Thursday in the murder trial of Jeffery Trevino.

The report said that many potential jurors spoke of seeing media reports on the case, reinforcing concerns from Trevino's defense attorney, that the jury pool would be tainted.

The jury will be sworn in Thursday morning.
