DNR: Duck hunters drop to lowest number in over three decades

The Pioneer Press reports the high costs, hard work and overall loss of hunting in society are behind the drop. Only about 87,000 duck stamps were purchased last year -- that's the lowest number since the state started the duck stamp program in 1977.
