Land of 10,000 'Harlem Shakes': Internet dance craze sweeps Minnesota

The Harlem Shake internet craze still has legs in Minnesota.

The meme consists of short YouTube videos of dancers (mostly college students) tearing it up to the song "Harlem Shake" by the electronic music producer Baauer.

The Daily Beast notes that more than 40,000 “Harlem Shake” videos had been uploaded as of Feb. 15, netting more than 175 million views.
