Prince hit ABC's gabfest "The View" on Monday with a new old-school hairstyle.

The Star Tribune's Chris Riemenschneider observed that Prince, "who has employed more straightening techniques than Michele Bachmann’s husband, Marcus" debuted a surprisingly natural new 'do.

Prince also has a new song, “RnR Affair,” which Sacramento radio station V101.1 was playing Monday, the Star Tribune notes.

Prince chatted on the show about three shows next week in Chicago.

Prince reportedly in talks to play St. Paul concert
