Lift Bridge Brewing to boost capacity again

Lift Bridge Brewing Co. is installing new fermenters that will increase the brewery's capacity by another 35 percent, the Pioneer Press reports.

This is the third time the Stillwater-based craft beer maker has expanded since it moved about three years ago.

Lift Bridge Brewery is also hiring a part-time production technician, according to its website.

August Schell Brewing Co. in New Ulm is also working on a multimillion dollar project to boost its annual brewing capacity from 150,000 barrels to 250,000 barrels.

Last month, Indeed Brewing Company in northeast Minneapolis said it planned to double its production capacity to 6,400 barrels per year.
