Lil Wayne has again pulled out of a Twin Cities performance at the last minute.

Twenty minutes before he was scheduled to hit the stage, event security at Target Center on Friday evening told GoMN's photographer that the rapper would not perform in the headlining slot of the Spring Reset Fest.

"Lil Wayne has postponed his set tonight at Target Center due to plane mechanical issues," Target Center said in a statement. "More details will be announced soon. Target Center was prepared to host the full lineup, so we sincerely apologize to all fans for the inconvenience."

Wayne also tweeted an apology.

Up to that point, the night went on as planned, and featured performances by Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, and Prof. But when his set was scheduled to begin, Weezy did not materialize. A half hour later, the house lights came up and people began to leave.

Wayne’s last scheduled Minneapolis show didn’t happen after a disagreement involving event security. As reported in the Star Tribune, Wayne did not perform a 2015 show at the Venue after “members of his entourage refused to take part in the Venue’s standard safety procedures.”

The Spring Reset Fest date was originally scheduled for February 25, but was moved to March 31 due to "scheduling conflicts."
