Big Boi and Adam Levine are both known for their out-there videos, so when the two come together they take us to...a laundromat?!?!?!!
It's been a wonderfully strange year for videos of Adam Levine with rappers. He caught Pokémon with Kendrick Lamar, took drugs with Future, and now is tasked with finding Big Boi's laundry. So goes the new video for their collaboration "Mic Jack," the first single from Big Boi's forthcoming album Boomiverse.
Things get more random from there as Levine brings Big Boi several incorrect pieces of clothing that sees him envision being everywhere from a car wash to outer space. Say what you will about how Big Boi looks as an astronaut, but no-one can deny Daddy Fat Stacks looking better in a fur coat than anyone in hip-hop.
The video also arrived with the news that Boomiverse drops June 16.
- Footage surfaced of Chance the Rapper performing a "drunk 'Mask Off' freestyle" with King L.
- A painting of Kendrick Lamar was chosen to hang prominently in the U.S. Capitol.
- Atmosphere are hitting the Golden State this August for their 11-show Welcome to California tour with Greg Grease, Zuluzuluu and DJ Just Nine.
- Hellfyre Club member and battle rap innovator Nocando dropped a new video for "Severed."
