A word that Minnesotans must use on an almost daily basis to describe their state is a word they most commonly mis-spell.

Yes, "beautiful" is the word that Minnesota has had trouble spelling this year, with data from Google revealing the word each state has asked "How to spell..." the most so far this year.

According to USA Today, Iowans get breathless over "vacuum," North Dakotans are in two minds about "dilemma," and Wisconsin has difficulty spelling... wait for it... "Wisconsin."

Minnesota isn't alone in finding it hard to spell "beautiful," the word came top in four other states – California, Kentucky, New York and Ohio.

It marks a change from a year ago, when Minnesotans were struggling the most with "broccoli."

Googlers in West Virginia and Connecticut are apparently big Mary Poppins fans, as both states featured "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" as their most misspelled word.
