Logic PD announced Monday that Bruce DeWitt has joined the Minneapolis-based company as its new chief executive officer, according to a news release. He brings more than 30 years of experience in military, aerospace, electronics and product innovation, and high ranking leadership roles.
"Bruce's extensive background in electronic systems, which has included significant product innovation, aligns well with the Logic PD business model," John Flanigan, chairman of Logic PD's Board of Directors, said in a statement. "We believe Bruce's strong track record of commercializing complex technologies, navigating regulated markets and growing technology businesses will enable him to lead Logic PD to achieve breakthrough results."
DeWitt, a former executive of Alliant Techsystems, Inc., replaces Michael Davis who has led Logic PD since 2008.
"Logic PD has outstanding growth potential and a highly knowledgeable workforce in all facets of product innovation," DeWitt added. "I am honored to lead this team, and I am confident we will continue to develop invaluable intellectual property to leverage across new and existing markets to help our clients achieve even greater success."
