Longtime TV anchor in Fargo-Moorhead dies


A well known news anchor in the Red River Valley has died, Forum Communications reports. Marv Bossart passed away Tuesday after battling Parkinson's disease in recent years.

Bossart spent more than four decades at WDAY-TV as a reporter and anchor before retiring about 13 years ago. He also taught hundreds of journalism students over the years at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Bossart was 79 years old.
