After more than seven years of planning, Lunds finally opened its new 20,000 square-foot grocery and liquor store Thursday in downtown Minneapolis, KSTP reports. It's located in the historic Sturr-Bullard Motor Company building at 12th and Hennepin Avenue.

A new rooftop workout area arrives this fall. Golden Valley-based Steele Fitness plans to open what it believes is "Minnesota's first rooftop training space" above the brand new Lunds grocery store in September. Twin Cities Business reports the new fitness center will feature the three-season workout area on the roof, luxury locker rooms and retail space for exercise clothing and gear.
