Lindsay Whalen helped the Minnesota Lynx improve to 12-1 on the season in the team's 79-67 victory over the Chicago Sky Saturday at Target Center. Whalen scored 25 points and had eight assists and six rebounds in the victory, the Lynx's 13th in a row at home including last year's playoffs.

Lynx topple Seattle, 86-73

The Lynx used three impressive individual performances to beat the Storm 86-73 in Seattle Tuesday night. Seimone Augustus led the way with 22 points, Maya Moore added 20 and Rebekkah Brunson dominated inside with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Lynx stars, US women hammer China in basketball

Lynx forward Maya Moore had 12 points and seven rebounds during the impressive 114-63 rout of China at the London Olympics on Sunday. Lindsay Whalen scored 10 points and Seimone Augustus added eight points in the American's 38th-straight victory in Olympic play.
