Five miles of southbound Highway 100 will be closed this weekend, the Star Tribune says. Transportation officials say the southbound lanes between Interstate 394 and Highway 62 will be closed between 5 a.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday for workers to make repairs to bridges, signs and drainage systems.

In the south metro, three busy ramps continue to be closed along Interstate 494, according to KARE 11. The ramps from Portland Avenue to westbound I-494, from westbound I-494 to Nicollet Avenue and the ramp from northbound France Avenue to westbound I-494 remain closed until as late as November.

The ramp closures are needed as crews continue work to add a westbound I-494 auxiliary lane that will extend between I-35W and Hwy 100 as part of the I-494 improvement project.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has more information on the closures on their website.
