Man charged after allegedly taking video of boys changing at YMCAs

A Coon Rapids man faces seven felonies after allegedly recording video of young boys changing their clothes at YMCA locations in the north metro, WCCO reports.

Last month, a 12-year-old boy at the Andover YMCA told his parents that a man held a watch over the side of a bathroom stall while the boy was changing clothes. The man was later identified as 53-year-old Robert Dennis Minor.

Investigators searched Minor's home, which he shares with his parents, and found the watch with video and photo capabilities, along with a computer containing images of several young boys changing clothes at YMCA facilities in Andover and Coon Rapids.

KARE 11 reports thousands of videos and still images of boys engaging in sexual acts were also found on computer hard drives by investigators.

There's also evidence that suggests Minor used a file program used by child pornographers to share their "pornography collections," according to ABC Newspapers.
