Man dead in north Minneapolis homicide, suspect in custody
A man in north Minneapolis was shot and killed in the third critical incident that occurred in the city Friday afternoon.
The Pioneer Press says police are describing the shooting as a "domestic-related" homicide.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in a home on the 2900 block of Girard Avenue N. shortly before 4 p.m., according to the Star Tribune. The man was found dead inside.
The suspect was arrested a short time later Friday.
It's unclear how the two knew each other. Their identities have not been released.
About 20 minutes before the shooting, dozens of officers responded to an incident in south Minneapolis that left two officers injured from gunshot wounds, a suspect dead and a motorcyclist killed after colliding with a squad.
