A man was found dead of a possible drowning at a Plymouth apartment complex swimming pool Sunday evening, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.

In a news release, the sheriff said a 911 call came in at 7:30 p.m. reporting that an unresponsive man had been pulled out of the indoor pool at the Plymouth Square at 37th apartments, at 15300 37th Avenue N.

The man was a resident of the apartment complex, and had been pulled out of the water by a family member and another person.

First responders performed CPR on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff.

His identity will be released and a cause of death will be determined by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.

According to FOX 9, it's the same pool where a 16-year-old boy drowned almost exactly a year ago.

Benedict Richardson died on April 25, 2014, after he was pulled out of the water of the same swimming pool, and authorities determined his death was due to accidental drowning.
