A shooting in south Minneapolis near Uptown left one man dead early Thursday morning.
WCCO-TV reports that police are investigating the shooting, which police say happened around 2:30 a.m. inside an apartment building on the 3000 block of Grand Avenue South.
The station reports that an adult male was found on the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. Crews tried to perform CPR, but he died at the scene.
Police tell WCCO the shooting wasn't random and they do not have anyone in custody yet. Police are interviewing several people who were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.
