A man being robbed at gunpoint by two suspects wasn't going down without a fight – or two.
He was walking outside in St. Paul's North End around 5:30 p.m. Monday when he was approached by two men armed with handguns, the Pioneer Press reports.
But when the potential victim pulled out his own handgun, the men exchanged gunfire and the suspects fled in a car.
Not willing to give up, the man followed in a different vehicle, the Star Tribune says, before getting in another gunfight about a mile away.
He has a permit to carry his handgun, and is cooperating with police, reports note. He was not injured.
One of the suspects was shot in the foot and was treated at Regions Hospital, reports say. The other is being sought by police.
