Man shoots his own leg in grocery store bathroom

A man is recovering after he shot himself in the lower leg Sunday afternoon, when he was in a bathroom at a Rainbow Foods grocery store in Plymouth, WCCO and KARE report.

Investigators say the gun fired when he dropped it, and that the injury is not life-threatening. It was not immediately known exactly how the incident happened, but police believe it was an accident, WCCO reported.

No one else was in the restroom and no one else was injured, the stations reported.
