Man shot 6 times stumbles into team of nurses
A man who had been shot six times early Sunday staggered into the right place: a bar where six nurses sprang into action to save his life, the Star Tribune reports.
The man is expected to survive after the off-duty nurses at Maxwell's bar in Minneapolis used bar towels and the man's belt to slow the bleeding until paramedics arrived to take him to Hennepin County Medical Center, the newspaper reported. There was a lot of blood flow to stem – he'd been shot twice in the abdomen and twice in the leg, including in the femoral artery.
No one has been arrested and police continue to investigate the 1 a.m. shooting at Bobby & Steve's Auto World, the newspaper reported.
