Man's body recovered from Mississippi River

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office recovered the body of a man from the Mississippi River near the Washington Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis Tuesday morning, WCCO reports.

Authorities were searching the river for a man seen jumping from the Third Avenue Bridge on Monday afternoon, according to the Star Tribune. The body recovered Tuesday is a different man.

The man's identity and cause of death will be released from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
