Exhibition basketball isn't exactly the most entertaining or important thing in the world.
When a player misses it is when heads start to turn.
Enter Wolves offseason addition Kevin Martin, who only played six minutes last night because of a sore achilles, and decided to sit out tonight's exhibition against Milwaukee to "get myself right."
The Wolves have just one more preseason game until an eight day layoff, so speculation is that Martin will sit that out as well.
As for the game, Minnesota won their second exhibition in 24 hours, defeating the Bucks 98-89.
Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio played just 11 minutes each, while Othyus Jeffers, who is fighting for a spot on the roster, led the Wolves in scoring, dropping 13.
Nate Wolters, St. Cloud native and former South Dakota State standout making his first trip as a pro back to his college stomping grounds, played 20 minutes and was one of three Bucks in double figures, scoring 10.
