Rochester-based Mayo Clinic is no longer providing clinical services at the Mall of America, the Pioneer Press reports. Clinic spokesman Brain Anderson told the newspaper, "All previously available on-site clinical services concluded on Jan. 1, 2013."
Anderson says Mayo continues to operate its retail outlet at MOA that's focused on selling health and wellness products. The clinic's lease at the mall continues until mid-2013.
Mayo launched a prominent first-floor "Healthy Living" store at the Bloomington mall in 2011 and also started offering consultations.
Last month, Mayo decided not to be part of the mall's $200 million expansion set to begin this fall.
