The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says a pedestrian lying on a roadway in Northern Township near Bemidji died after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning. A 7-year-old boy was hit by a car outside of his grandparents home in Wright County Friday morning. The 47-year-old driver was also killed in the crash. His wife told the Star Tribune he was driving home after working his overnight shift. Investigators have yet to determine whether the driver had any medical problems.

A 15-year-old only suffered minor injuries after being thrown from a car in Beltrami County Sunday morning. The northern Minnesota girl was sleeping in the back seat when she was ejected out a window that broke after the car went into the ditch and hit a sign. Forum Communications reports neither the 72-year-old driver or the other 18-year-old passenger realized the girl was missing until after they left the scene.
