The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says a pedestrian lying on a roadway in Northern Township near Bemidji died after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning. Authorities say Tyler Blake Cummings, 21, of Bemidji died after being struck by a car driven by Samantha Ruth Pender, 19, also of Bemidj, at about 3 a.m.

A 7-year-old boy was hit by a car outside of his grandparents home in Wright County Friday morning. The 47-year-old driver was also killed in the crash.
