A medical examiner at the Mayo Clinic confirmed the identity of the man found dead after Monday's all-day standoff with police at a Lake City home. Alan Sylte's death was determined to be a suicide. Police say Sylte also shot Lake City police officer Shawn Schneider, who remains in critical condition.
