Michele Bachmann spotted filming scenes for 'Sharknado 3'
Michele Bachmann has been spotted in Washington, D.C. filming scenes for "Sharknado 3."
There's a sentence we didn't think we'd ever write, but the former Minnesota representative will indeed make a cameo appearance in the latest sequel to the cult B-movie, and Huffington Post politics editor Igor Bobic noticed her filming outside the White House on Wednesday.
The Republican and Tea Party politician, who took several bites out of opponents during her time in the House, will play herself while still in Congress, as the East Coast fends off the latest attack of sharks caught up in tornadoes.
The Washington Post notes Bachmann will be reporting to billionaire Mark Cuban, playing the president, as well as a vice president played by prominent conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
"I believe they are growing in size. Congress has to take this seriously," is apparently one of the lines Bachmann will deliver in the film, according to Bobic.
You'll be able to catch the TV movie, which also features David Hasselhoff, Jerry Springer and WWE wrestler Chris Jericho, in July on SyFy.
