One night after scoring the game-winner against the Los Angeles Kings at the Xcel Energy Center in overtime, Granlund tallied three points – all in the first period – helping the Wild build an early lead.
Granlund put the Wild on the scoreboard 3 minutes into the game with a pretty breakaway goal.
Granlund was one of six Wild players to score a goal in the game, but he added a pair of helpers for a three-point night.
His prettiest highlight of the night came on his first helper when he set up Tyler Graovac for his seventh goal of the season.
Coming into Tuesday night's game Granlund had tallied points in 29 of his last 36 games – a pace similar to likely NHL MVP Sidney Crosby.
The three points Granlund added Tuesday make it an incredible 32 points in his last 37 games.
