Mike Zimmer offers a glimpse at Teddy Bridgewater's rehab

Mike Zimmer says there's still no timeline set for Teddy Bridgewater's return.

Throughout the last six months news on Teddy Bridgewater's recovery from a devastating knee injury has been quite sparse.

The Vikings still haven't given any timeline for when Bridgewater might return. He missed all of last season after suffering a dislocated knee in August during a non-contract drill days before the start of the season. There have been reports that he could miss all of 2017 too.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer still didn't have a timeline on Bridgewater's return when he spoke to Sirius XM Monday, but he did offer some insight on how Teddy's rehab is going.

Earlier this month, Zimmer told Pro Football Talk Live that he expects Sam Bradford to be the starter in 2017, and he just hopes Bridgewater can be healthy enough to continue his career.

The Vikings do have a tough decision on Bridgewater. They have to decide by May 2 if they will pick up Bridgewater's fifth-year option, or if they'll allow him to become a free agent following the 2017 season.
