After recently closing, the downtown Minneapolis club formerly known as Mill City Nights will reopen under a new name, multiple sources close to the deal have confirmed to GoMN.

Look for more bookings at Music Hall Minneapolis soon.

D.R.A.M. is booked for Dec. 30, and R&B star Kehlani is scheduled to perform at the club on May 6 of next year.

No word on the status of the venue's Nether Bar basement space just yet.

The club will be operated by Entourage Events Group, which counts the Fine Line Music Cafe, Minneapolis Event Centers at St. Anthony Main, and The Mansion in Uptown among its holdings.

The club was previously operated by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG, for short), a global entertainment conglomerate that also operates Target Center. Mill City's closing was announced in September as “purely a business decision,” AEG senior vice president Joe Litvag told GoMN at the time.

Mill City Nights began as “The Brick” in 2012, and went head-to-head with First Avenue. An oversold opening night featuring Jane's Addiction forced the venue to rebrand, remodel, and downsize to a 1,200-seat capacity.
