Minn. companies make list of best corporate citizens

For the fifth consecutive year, Hormel Foods Corporation made Corporate Responsibility Magazine's 100 Best Corporate Citizens List.

Yahoo!Finance reports the Austin, Minn.-based company was ranked the top Minnesota-based company (No. 31) on the 14th annual list.

Other Minnesota based companies on the list include General Mills, (No. 33) 3M, (No. 34) the Mosaic Company (No. 52) and Target (No. 62.)

The list documents 298 data points of disclosure and performance measures from publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance and philanthropy.
