Bail was set at $15,000 Tuesday morning for Minneapolis Police Sgt. David Clifford, the man accused of sucker-punching a Ramsey man for talking loud on his cell phone on a bar patio, Fox 9 reports.
He's now out of jail.

Clifford's assault was "remarkably violent," and alcohol was involved in the incident, according to a prosecutor, the Star Tribune reports. Fox 9 says Clifford only had half a drink, according to his attorney.

Clifford is now on paid home assignment, the Pioneer Press reports. Clifford's next court appearance is July 19.
