A photographer from San Francisco is on a mission to take pictures of at least 1,000 Pugs. She's traveling around the country with a goal of raising $10,000 to help pugs in need and this weekend she had a photo shoot at the Walker Art Center Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis.

The folk-rock legends are hitting the road and coming to the Twin Cities on Aug. 6. Tickets go on sale March 30.

Jane Maas began working in New York City in 1964 as a copywriter for Ogilvy & Mather, living a real-life version of the popular AMC show Mad Men. Maas praises the show as "wonderfully accurate" and has recently published a book called “Mad Women: The Other Side of Life on Madison Avenue in the ’60s and Beyond.” She recently told her story to a group of Minnesotans.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission is looking for an artist to help renovate airport restrooms. KSTP reports mosaic works of art will be displayed at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The initial part of the $50,000 art project is set to be installed in September.

After years of budget deficits, the state appears to be enjoying some rare good news. The Minnesota budget forecast shows $323 million more than expected. But even as it's released, state budget officials warn years of I.O.U.s now need to be paid.

The MDA is providing $2.4 million in grants to nine renewable energy projects. Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson says the money should give companies a boost to take biofuels in the developmental stage to commercial production.
