OccupyMN protesters occupy foreclosed home
The TC Daily Planet is reporting some demonstrators connected to the OccupyMN movement have occupied a foreclosed home in north Minneapolis to keep the residents from being evicted. The protesters say they intend to stay in the home and in tents on the property until U.S. Bank agrees to renegotiate the mortgage. They say they will resist if authorities try to forcefully evict the residents.
Duluth protest group staying all day
Duluth protesters supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement plan to stay at Lake Superior Plaza all day Saturday. Statewide demonstrations have been organized in other cities, including Minneapolis, St. Paul and Rochester. Protests are in response to perceived social inequality and corporate greed.

Hennepin County officials say due to winterizing at the Government Center plaza on Friday, OccupyMN protesters must consolidate their belongings or they will be confiscated, portable toilets will be limited to three, and overnight sleeping will be disallowed once temperatures drop below 25 degrees or a significant snowfall.
No camping crackdown on OccupyMN protesters -- for now
A ban on camping on the county property went into effect this week, but law enforcement authorities haven't started enforcing the new law. Several dozen activists remain at government plaza.
