It's the glorious day Minnesotans have waited for, with balmy spring temperatures across the state, possibly even hitting the 80s in southwest Minnesota.

It could be 75 degrees late this afternoon in the Twin Cities – the first 70-degree day in nearly six months (Oct. 11, 2013), FOX 9 notes.

Other expected highs around the state today, according to the National Weather Service:

Brainerd: 71
Duluth: 57
Rochester: 73
Marshall: 81

That compares pretty well with the rest of the nation – downright Florida-like:

Jacksonville: 73
Tampa: 74
Miami: 75
Orlando: 77

The Twin Cities on Wednesday was expected to be warmer than ...

San Francisco: 73
Houston: 73
New Orleans: 69
Memphis: 66
Atlanta: 65

...but not as hot as:

Phoenix: 97
Las Vegas: 90
San Antonio: 84
Albuquerque: 82

Here's how it was looking nationwide at about 1 p.m. ... enjoy!
