A Minnesota woman at a care center in Stewartville has reached a milestone birthday, the Rochester Post-Bulletin reports.

Ruth Andreasen turned 110 at the care center on Friday -- the same day a fellow resident, Lucile Voeltz, turned 101.

Andreason celebrated her birthday with four generations at the care center Friday.

Sharon Bernard, the center's activities director, said Andreason is mentally acute and a formidable competitor in the center's games.

Andreasen's daughter, Jane Hoeft, says her mother "never smoked, never drank and has a strong faith," and she those attributes to mother's longevity.
