A vulnerable Coon Rapids woman who went missing last month has been found safe and well, authorities said Tuesday.

LaTrease Underwood was reported missing after she failed to return home from a therapy appointment on Jan. 22.

But police confirmed Tuesday that Underwood had been found, announcing on the City of Coon Rapids Facebook page: "Thanks to everyone for sharing information regarding a missing person case on January 23.

"The Coon Rapids woman has now been found safe and sound."

At the time of her disappearance, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) described Underwood as a "vulnerable adult with health issues."

She was last seen with a man in the lobby of the building where she had her therapy appointment.
