Missing Utah teenager survives crash that killed 2 in Stearns County

The teenager had been missing from Utah since Jan. 23.

Two men from Utah died in a car crash in Stearns County, Minnesota, early Wednesday morning, and a teenage girl in the same car was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis where she was listed in critical condition.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the vehicle the two deceased men were in crossed into the opposite lane on County Road 2 and was hit by an oncoming car.

According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Department, the two men who died are Cody Alan Randall, 30, and J.D. Delance Randall, 24, of Washington City, Utah. Both were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene (County Road 2 and Island Lake Road near Wakefield Township).

The teenage girl has been identified as Katie Seegmiller, 15, also from Washington City. She had been reported missing on Jan. 23 and Utah officials were growing more concerned with each day because she has cystic fibrosis, the St. George News reports

Sandra Hansen, a 64-year-old from Cold Spring, Minnesota, was in the other vehicle involved in the crash. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital and was listed in stable condition.

It's not clear what relationship Seegmiller had with the two men.
