Missouri double murder suspect arrested in Minneapolis

A St. Louis man wanted for the murder of two women was arrested in downtown Minneapolis Friday morning. Police asked for the public's help in finding Darnell Vaughn Thursday. Vaughn is currently being held in the Hennepin County Jail pending extradition to Missouri.

A man wanted for the murder of two Missouri women was arrested Friday morning in Minneapolis. The Star Tribune reports 29-year-old Darnell Vaughn of St. Louis called 911 around 4:30 a.m. to turn himself in, one day after authorities sought the public's help on finding the suspect. Vaughn was arrested near 3rd Avenue S. and S. 11th Street in downtown.

KSDK-TV, a St. Louis TV station, says Vaughn was charged with two counts of first-degree murder last week. Vaughn is currently being held at the Hennepin County Jail pending extradition to Missouri.

Suspect in Mpls. double homicide arrested in Iowa

A suspect in a Minneapolis double homicide was arrested in Iowa. According to the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, 22-year-old Ishmael Roberts allegedly crashed a stolen van into a ditch in Waterloo, Iowa Monday night. Roberts fled the scene but was eventually located by police. Officers said Roberts appeared to be intoxicated.

Missouri man charged in Brooklyn Park triple murder

Police say 34-year-old Eddie Matthew Mosley, of St. Louis, Mo., has been charged with three felony counts of second-degree murder. According to the criminal complaint, Mosley was believed to have been trying to fight a sexual assault charge relating to a relative of one of the victims.
