Minnesota's new online health insurance exchange has reached a milestone.
MNsure officials say they have reached 10,000 accounts created.
It hasn't all been easy for MNsure though. It took until this week before officials announced that the major glitches had been worked out. Also a Minnesota Public Radio report says callers to MNsure are waiting an average of nine minutes before they are being helped.
MNsure Executive Director April Todd Malmlov said they are making changes to the website in hopes of easing some call volumes. Organizers had hoped that call wait times would be no more than five minutes.
MNsure is part of President Obama's Affordable Care Act. Overall reaction to the act, nationwide has not been very positive, according to a report in the Associated Press. Just seven percent of those polled said the rollout went extremely well or very well.
